What is the significance of idol-worship in spirituality?

Just imagine there are no idols at all in this country, no temples, no photographs, no paintings, the entire mankind would have been in big loss. Just imagine, there were no sculpture, you would never had known how the people of past have looked. Just imagine, there was no Michale Angelo, no Ravi-Verma there were no painting of any sorts, this world would be such a dull place.

Similarly, imagine the world without any dance any music or any festivity you know the people who systematically attack the values of the society or the culture of the country they are some mischief. They say you just put all ashrams into one basket and sit hopeless, simply all temples are looting money; what do these(people exposing the mischives) do? What do the bollywood do? Each of those actors come and sneeze in front of camera and take crores of rupees. For big advertisement they just come and sneeze two times for which they take 2-3 crores. Of that money, what do they do? Drink, go for drugs, drinking-partying and waste money. From where this huge amount has come-from public. And that to poor people go for entertainment, pay so much money, and this hard earned money go in pocket of bollywood actors & actresses and lives of such entertainers are miserable in bundle, unethical and immoral. They may talk about ethics but personally if you see their personal lives you can't find ethics in most of them.

They say there should be no idols, no poojas, don't go to satsang .don't do dahi-handi etc . These festivals bring colour to the society. That is what India is.

Just imagine, no moorthy, no pooja, no temple at all, then there is no India. It will be like Afghanistan where 2000 old Buddha's idol was destroyed. And this Afghanistan has desert.

Producers , directors and promoters of such movies do have ulterior motives and they want to take this country to naxalism . Basically they don't want ethics and religion to inhibit their motives. They take religion and beat up the religion. This is new trend that has come up in society.

Like politicians, they create their own enemy and make them against them and people go on abusing politicians, so people are divided among them and one of the politician wins the election . Their motive is to deceive the people like praja-rajyam party and NCP.

Similarly in Bollywood, people wearing Tilak and Choti are made Villain. So in this way, the people practicing religion are being put in very bad light so that young people can move away from that .The more people make such move away from traditional values, they can make them more susceptible for drugs, alcohol, cigarette etc, all these lobby work towards them. What stops people from drugs is their values and religiosity. So the drug market flourish very well.

People of spiritual bend of mind, don't go to drugs. Because spirituality is like an eraser which erase wrong intentions of people and try to help them with help of spiritual volunteers. People of First, you have to cut youth from going to these places and then influence them to take the drugs and led them towards self-destruction.
