Significance of idol-worship in spirituality
What is the significance of idol-worship in spirituality? Just imagine there are no idols at all in this country, no temples, no photographs, no paintings, the entire mankind would have been in big loss. Just imagine, there were no sculpture, you would never had known how the people of past have looked. Just imagine, there was no Michale Angelo, no Ravi-Verma there were no painting of any sorts, this world would be such a dull place. Similarly, imagine the world without any dance any music or any festivity you know the people who systematically attack the values of the society or the culture of the country they are some mischief. They say you just put all ashrams into one basket and sit hopeless, simply all temples are looting money; what do these(people exposing the mischives) do? What do the bollywood do?
